Lauryn Hayashi, PT, DPT

Lauryn Hayashi, DPT grew up in northern California, where she was involved in competitive sports such as lacrosse, soccer, and cross country. She then received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tufts University, and then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Columbia University with a focus on advanced orthopedics.

During her time at Columbia, Lauryn was a part of the university's pro-bono interdisciplinary health clinics, Columbia RunLab and CoSMO. In RunLab, she used video analysis to assess biomechanics and worked with the team to create personalized home exercise programs for runners of all levels.

In her current practice, Lauryn believes in taking an individualized and holistic approach to physical therapy. Her areas of expertise include advanced orthopedics, PT for runners, and post-operative hip and shoulder rehabilitation. She empowers her patients to be actively involved in their rehabilitation process to achieve their goals and regain their desired level of function. Outside of work, Lauryn enjoys running, hiking, cooking/baking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
