About Provider Maria Abraham, MD:

Dr. Abraham is a board-certified pediatrician whose passion lies in cultivating a collaborative and supportive environment for families embarking on the incredible journey of parenthood. With a profound love for nurturing both children and parents,  she finds immense joy in assisting new moms, providing them with guidance and reassurance as they navigate the challenging yet rewarding transition to motherhood. She has a special interest in lactation medicine and breastfeeding as well.

Dr. Abraham also likes to draw on her own experiences as a mother of three young children and merge her medical expertise with practical insights, fostering a realistic approach to child development and care. Her goal is to create a partnership with families, engaging in shared decision-making and open discussions, ensuring that every step is taken together—a “we” effort.

Dr. Abraham also feels a special connection with her adolescent and young adult population as they navigate all the changes into more responsibility and the stresses that come with it. She is always available for a chat or catch-up session when needed.

Dr. Abraham went to St. George’s University School of Medicine and was Chief Resident at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and was a Pediatric Urgent Care Fellow.
