Sarah Andiman, MD, FACOG

Dr. Sarah Andiman diagnoses and treats women with pelvic floor disorders including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse (uncomfortable or bothersome vaginal bulge), bladder pain, recurrent urinary tract infections, and genital tract fistulas. Many pelvic floor disorders have a variety of treatment options (both non-surgical and surgical). Dr. Andiman believes good communication is key to understanding pelvic floor disorders and treatment options. She works closely to understand the concerns of each patient to tailor therapy to fit individual patients’ therapy goals.

Dr. Andiman performs vaginal and laparoscopic surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted. In addition, she offers a number of office-based procedures for bladder issues, including bladder instillations for bladder pain, and percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation and Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA) treatment for overactive bladder.

Dr. Andiman earned her medical degree at Brown University. She conducted her internship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, her residency at Yale University School of Medicine and completed a Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. During her medical training, she participated in educational and surgical projects in Cambodia, Rwanda, Tanzania and the Dominican Republic. She has presented her original research at national meetings of the American Urogynecologic Society and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons and published in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Andiman is excited to be practicing in the Hudson Valley and looks forward to building relationships with her patients.
