Dr. Sanjiv Kinkhabwala is a board certified endocrinologist. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the New York University School of Medicine, and is an Attending Physician at New York University Langone Medical Center. Dr. Kinkhabwala's areas of expertise include:

• General endocrinology including diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic bone disease and osteoporosis, and pituitary, adrenal and reproductive disorders
• Bone densitometry interpretation

Dr. Kinkhabwala graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with an A.B in applied mathematics, and completed medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center and fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Mount Sinai Hospital, where he performed research in the metabolic consequences of polycystic ovary syndrome. He is also board certified in internal medicine. He is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology.
