About Provider Ritu Anand, MD:

Dr. Anand graduated from medical school with honors in microbiology, physiology and pharmacology. Dr. Anand then went on to complete her internship and residency from the University at Buffalo and served as chief resident from 2004 to 2005. While there, she received the Best Resident Award for “Excellence in Bedside Medicine”. Dr. Anand went on to complete her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism from the University at Buffalo.

Dr. Anand is board certified in endocrinology and in obesity medicine. She was awarded the “Best Physician in America” award in 2015, and “Woman of Distinction” award in 2017. She was selected as NJ Top Doc in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, and she is a Castle Connolly award winner for 2020 and 2021.
