Renata Weber, MD
Renata V. Weber, MD, FACS, is a board certified hand surgeon and reconstructive plastic surgeon. Dr. Weber graduated from NYU Medical School in 1994 has over 25 years of experience in the field of hand surgery, peripheral nerve surgery and reconstructive plastic surgery. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, is active in training the next generation of plastic surgery residents through her position at the East Orange Veteran’s Administration Medical Center and teaches the orthopedic surgery residents through her affiliation with Jersey City Medical Center. Aside from a busy clinical schedule, she is active in clinical research and is the site director for the Ranger study, a multi-center national clinical study investigating the use of processed human nerve grafts in reconstruction of nerve gap injuries. She is currently the President-Elect of the New York Society for Surgery of the Hand. In her practice she treats all types of hand and nerve conditions, but her subspecialty focus is on complex nerve injuries, unusual nerve compressions, congenital pediatric hand conditions and vascular problems of the hands.
