Dr. Rachel Schwartz Gerber is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist and board certified obstetrician and gynecologist who cares for patients at at RMA of New York – Westchester’s Mount Kisco, White Plains, and Poughkeepsie locations. In addition to her medical expertise, Dr. Gerber prides herself on treating every patient with compassion, empathy, and respect.

Dr. Gerber received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University in chemical engineering. She studied medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she graduated with distinction in medical education. As a medical student, she worked as a survivor advocate in emergency rooms across New York City for Mount Sinai’s sexual assault and violence intervention (SAVI) program. She went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center where she won two outstanding teaching awards.

Dr. Gerber is a distinguished clinician and researcher. She has presented her research at numerous national conferences and published extensively in the top journals of the field. Her current research focuses on using data from national database of The Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) to understand the neonatal benefits of single embryo transfer and optimize ovarian stimulation in IVF. She is also contributed to the National Institute of Health (NIH) funded research on novel markers of endometrial receptivity, and she was recognized by Super Doctors as a New York Rising Star in 2021. Dr. Gerber is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS), and American Medical Association (AMA).
