Jennifer Goldstein, FNP-BC, MSN has had a love for, and a way with children for her whole life. Because of this, before nursing school and during her studies, she worked as a nanny for several families for over 15+ years, which played a big part in fostering her love of children, but also highly contributed to the way she practices as a pediatric provider. Jennifer has experience as a RN in pediatric home care, labor and delivery and mother baby, step down, ICU, and pediatric and adult emergency medicine. She started her NP career by studying under and practicing in adolescent and pediatric medicine, including psychology and eating disorder specialties. From there, she decided to move into a bigger practice at Optum Medical, where she is excited to continue her provider journey in pediatrics.
Jennifer's philosophy on patient care is to be honest and open with her patients and their families. She also helps to aid and educate patients and their families in their journey's by listening and paying close attention to their needs and concerns throughout all aspects of their life. She believe that true understanding of one's body, emotions, and processes, allows us to be more in tune, and better able to live a happy and healthy life.
