In practice since 1993, Dr. Atkinson specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and surgery for strabismus in all age groups. He had initially retired in 2019, but returned to the field to help out during the COVID-19 pandemic. The experience deepened his appreciation for the trust that patients and families place in him.
