Sunita Satwani, MD

Dr. Sunita Satwani joined Riverside Pediatric Group in 29. She cares for children in our Bayonne office. Dr. Satwani obtained her medical degree from Gandhi Medical School in India in 1998 and completed her residency in Pediatrics at The Brooklyn Hospital Center (which is affiliated with New York Presbyterian Hospital) in Brooklyn, NY in 25.

Dr. Satwani is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Satwani has a special interest in caring for children with asthma and allergies. She works very closely with parents to design effective long-term management and control of asthma symptoms. According to Dr. Satwani her “first and foremost rule when it comes to taking care of patients is always listen to the parents, as parents are almost always right. They know their child best.” As is evident by her caring and nurturing demeanor, Dr. Satwani chose to become a pediatrician in order to “make a difference in the lives of people.” Dr. Satwani lives with her husband and two sons in New Jersey. Her husband is an oncologist and does Bone Marrow Transplants at Columbia Hospital in New York. She is crazy about her sons and loves to travel around the world with her family.
