Larry J. Friedman, MD

Larry Friedman, MD practices internal medicine in Oceanside, New York. He makes sure his patients understand the importance of a comprehensive annual exam to update their history and to ensure that they are receiving preventive care. He believes there is nothing as beneficial as face-to-face contact with his patients. This provides the opportunity for him to observe them over time, sometimes for many years. As their long-time provider, he is able to recognize whether they are experiencing any physical or emotional changes. Dr. Friedman is proud to say that he reaches out to every patient to make sure they receive test results either in person or through the patient portal. In addition to treating patients, Dr. Friedman is a former clinical assistant professor at The Hofstra North Shore Long Island Jewish School of Medicine and had previously served on the Board of Directors of South Nassau’s Physician Hospital Organization.
