Kristal Diaz, NP’s nursing career began 10 years ago when she graduated as a licensed practical nurse from Eastwick College. She continued to go to college while working full time as a pediatric home health nurse and having one small child. Three years later she obtained her associates degree from Helene Fuld College of nursing where she became a registered nurse in 2017. In 2020, she received her bachelors degree from Aspen University. As a registered nurse, she worked as a case manager for 4 years and her latest position was as a telemetry nurse in a local hospital in her community. She enjoyed working as a registered nurse, but she was ready to make a bigger impact in her patients' lives. She recently graduated as a family nurse practitioner from United States University in California. She is a first generation graduate in her family.
Her passion is in primary care and cardiology. She also has a passion for exercise and nutrition. She enjoys working with individuals in her community as she gets to support, care, and teach them about their health. She is focused on delivering personalized, holistic care to each patient. Kristal believes that recognizing each patient's uniqueness and meeting them on their level is the most effective method to give high-quality patient care. Patients should be at the core of decision-making in care. Health, wellbeing, and illness should be seen from the perspective of the patient as a whole.
