Dr. Ginette N. Illuzzi is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon with extensive training in sports medicine, reconstructive surgery, pediatric podiatry, trauma management, wound care, limb salvage, and diabetic foot care. Dr. Illuzzi began her professional education at St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, New York, where she graduated as the valedictorian of her class and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Business Administration. After graduation, she enrolled at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she excelled in the program, graduating with high honors and as a member of the podiatric national honor society.
Dr. Illuzzi finished her three-year residency in podiatric medicine and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she served as chief resident. She holds several advanced certifications, including Comprehensive Internal Fixation/Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle and Foot and Ankle Arthroscopy. In addition, Dr. Illuzzi holds professional membership with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
