Djavlon Khakimov, DPM, FACFAS is a reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon who has extensive training in diagnosing and treating various foot and ankle disorders. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree at York College, Dr. Khakimov continued his graduate degree at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he received several scholarships and awards graduating Magna Cum Laude and top 3 of his class. He was also inducted into National Pi Delta Honor’s Society for his academic achievements. Afterwards, he completed his surgical residency at Morristown Medical Center.
Dr. Khakimov published numerous research posters as well as articles in various medical journals. His special clinical interests include traumatic injuries of the foot and ankle, sports injuries, arthroscopy, Charcot foot reconstruction, flatfoot reconstruction and total ankle replacement. He is a strong believer in evidence-based-medicine and stays up to date with latest treatment guidelines and surgical techniques. Dr. Khakimov strives to provide the highest quality care to his patients by carefully listening to their needs and ensuring that they feel valued.
