Office and Urgent Care Closures

Long Beach Urgent care will close at 1 pm, today Monday April 14. We will reopen Tuesday April 15, for normal operating hours.

Plainview Urgent care will be closed, Sunday April 13, and Monday April 14, and will reopen Tuesday April 15,  for normal operating hours.

The Croton-on-Hudson lab is temporarily closed until further notice.

Our neurosurgery department specializes in treating a wide range of conditions and disorders, including:

  • Complex, degenerative scoliosis and tumor etiologies
  • Neuro-oncology (brain tumors)
  • Peripheral nerve (such as carpal tunnel)
  • Functional (such as trigeminal neuralgia)
  • Many congenital issues (pediatric care related to birth defects)
  • Treatments for dementia, including shunts

We work in close collaboration with the Department of Neurosurgery at Columbia University for more complex neurosurgical disorders including cerebrovascular conditions, such as aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, and skull-based tumors.

Surgery is not necessarily the first option, and when able, we are committed to treating your condition with non-invasive or minimally-invasive techniques.

Our team works with: orthopedic surgeons, general surgeons, pain management specialists, neurologists, oncologists, as well as physical therapists to address your condition with a highly-personalized, multidisciplinary approach.

Surgical treatments include:

  • Open and minimally-invasive surgery for the spine and brain
  • Stereotactic radiosurgery (Gamma Knife and Novalis)
  • Image-guided procedures for both the brain and spine
  • Treatments for dementia, including shunts
