What is an inverted nipple repair?

Normal nipples project outward, giving breasts a natural appearance. Inverted nipples, which can occur in one or both breasts, lie flat against the breast or invert into the breast instead of protruding naturally. After the short procedure, the nipple will be sutured to an external stent which will be removed after a week.
