About Provider Yevgeniy Genchanok, MD:

Dr. Genchanok is board certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine and pulmonary disease, and he manages and treats a variety of pulmonary conditions. He has a special interest in asthma, COPD, pulmonary nodules, and lung cancer.

Dr. Genchanok grew up in Brooklyn, NY and received his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital.

Dr. Genchanok enjoys working with patients to address their pulmonary concerns. His aim is to use evidence-based practices to best treat patients’ respiratory problems and to work together to help improve their quality of life. He is a strong believer in shared decision making and works with patients to formulate treatment plans that are most in line with their goals and beliefs.
