Shontelle Berfet, PA

Shontelle Berfet, PA-C, joined Riverside in 2016. She obtained her Masters of Science from Seton Hall University in 2015 and is a member of Pi Alpha, PA National Honor Society and Golden Key Honor society. PA Berfet participated in the research publication “Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Immunizations: College Students’ Beliefs.” She was awarded Best Student Research by the American Academy of Physician Assistants and ’Excellence in Research’ award from Seton Hall University. PA Berfet was selected as a Paul Ambrose Scholar for her NJ Oral Health Awareness project in 2015.

Beyond the academic achievements, PA Berfet’s greatest achievement is delivering excellent care to her patients. She believes in educating her patients and working as a team to achieve good health. PA Berfet believes in treating her patients as she would her family —with compassion and dedication.

PA Berfet enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.”
