Ryan Sgroi, PA, graduated from Bryant University in 2023 with a master of science in physician assistant studies. He worked for 9 years as a certified surgical technologist in the operating room, specifically in orthopedics. After completing his education, he worked in operating rooms, assisting with total joint reconstruction surgeries. This valuable experience provided him with exposure to diverse orthopedic specialties, such as sports medicine, total joint replacements, spine care, and upper and lower extremity care, which are his top areas of expertise.
Ryan has a genuine passion for orthopedics due to his athletic background. Helping patients improve their quality of life through orthopedic care and ensuring they achieve optimal outcomes are his primary goals. While surgical approaches are sometimes necessary, he also emphasizes the importance of non-surgical options when appropriate.
Ryan believes in a patient-centered approach and follows evidence-based medicine. He is convinced that open communication and active patient involvement in decision-making and rehabilitation are essential for achieving the best possible outcomes.
