Dr. Schoenbrun is a Chicago native. She completed her undergraduate and medical school studies in Washington, DC and then moved to New York City for residency at the Ichan School of Medicine, Mount Sinai. Dr. Schoenbrun has a public health background and strongly believes in providing comprehensive and preventive women's health care, focusing on educating and supporting patients to take an active role in their health. While in residency, Dr. Schoenbrun helped create and lead a task force to address health care disparities among patient populations and create interventions to improve equity. Her clinical interests include comprehensive obstetric care, operative delivery, routine gynecologic care, preventive gynecologic services, comprehensive family planning care and services, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, menopause, and endocrine disorders. Fluent in Spanish and English, Dr. Schoenbrun has earned the Award for Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (2020), and also earned the title of Outstanding Teacher of Obstetrics and Gynecology (2018). She currently lives in Hudson Valley with her husband.
