About Provider Mark P. Abrams, MD:

As a cardiac electrophysiologist, Dr. Abrams specializes in the advanced management of heart rhythm disorders and the procedures that address them. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and subsequently completed training in internal medicine, cardiology, and further subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Abrams earned his BSc degree with Great Distinction in Physiology from McGill University.

Dr. Abrams is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has received multiple honors and awards for his humanism and excellence in clinical practice and has held several leadership roles in national organizations such as the American Heart Association, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and Heartbeat Health. He has published and presented in various regional, national, and international journals and conferences on cardiac arrhythmias as well as a novel program he developed improving burnout and physician professional development to optimize patient care.

Dr. Abrams was born and raised in Westchester County. He says it's an exciting time to be a cardiac electrophysiologist thanks to newer technological advancements and research helping people with arrhythmias live longer, healthier lives.
