Marina Yerovinkina, DPT, is an orthopedic clinical specialist with a focus on dance and sports medicine, as well as post-operative care.
She grew up in New York City and has always been a city girl. She attended LaGuardia High School for the performing arts and received her bachelor’s in environmental studies from New York University. In 2017, she completed her doctorate in physical therapy at Columbia University. During her time in graduate school, she was known among friends as "small but mighty". Marina's background in martial arts specifically Aikido, and dance has given her a deep understanding of her own body and its capabilities. This has led to her strong commitment to helping others achieve optimal physical health. In her practice, she incorporates her love for Aikido and dance, with a focus on movement, to help patients become more in tune with their bodies for long-term physical wellness.
Marina's goal is to empower individuals to take control of their own bodies. She finds great satisfaction in seeing her patients use the knowledge gained from their physical therapy sessions in their daily lives, leading to both physical and mental well-being.
