Lisa Levite, NP

Lisa Levite, NP has over 15 years of experience in maternal fetal medicine and during that time created a gestational diabetic program, her true passion. Prior to working in Maternal & Fetal Medicine, she has over 28 years in the nursing field, with over 11 years working in obstetrical care and labor and delivery.

Lisa has special training in the management of gestational diabetes. She provides a full consultation on implications and potential complications associated with gestational diabetes, as well as maternal and fetal effects during pregnancy. Each patient’s care will be individualized to ensure they are receiving the best care and reduce any unknown stress that goes along with having gestational diabetes. Being there and having the one-on-one relationship, is something that she enjoys offering her patients throughout their diagnosis.

Lisa works alongside the obstetrics providers within our practice and is also involved in starting up new obstetrical patients, as well as recently joining with Endocrinology team to assist with their gestational diabetes populations.

Lisa also can provide consultative services for preconception and prenatal patients for a wide variety of clinical indications. Common indications include high risk pregnancy complications, maternal illness, gestational diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease, medical management, and poor or complicated obstetrical history. She works along closely with maternal fetal medicine in collaboration to ensure they are receiving the best possible care.
