Junior Espinal, FNP, is a dedicated and experienced cardiology nurse practitioner with a sub-specialty in family medicine. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Junior is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently. His passion is helping patients improve their health and live better lives. He cares for patients 18 and above. With over 20 years in medicine, Junior is an expert in cardiovascular disease and primary care. He values honesty and involves patients in their healthcare decisions.
Junior earned his medical degree in the Dominican Republic, graduating from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) in 2005. He then studied at Franklin University in Ohio, where he got his Medicine Nurse Practitioner degree in 2021. He's certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He's also affiliated with the American College of Cardiology and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
In addition to his clinical work, Junior is involved in medical missions with the Batey Relief Alliance (BRA), providing care in underserved communities in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
Outside of work, Junior enjoys biking, cooking, and is a baseball coach. His diverse interests and experiences contribute to his well-rounded approach to patient care.
