Joanna Mohney, NP

Joanna P. Mohney, MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC is a board certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner with more than 19 years of Oncology experience. She been a registered nurse since 2004 in the specialty of Oncology and has clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient Oncology services. She is certified through the ANCC as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner since 2019 and is chemotherapy-biotherapy certified.

Joanna's professional background encompasses her tenure at John Theurer Cancer Center, a campus of the Hackensack Meridian Health network, where she works as a nurse specializing in oncology and hematology. This experience has not only bestowed upon her invaluable insights and expertise but has also fostered within her a strong dedication to serving as a patient advocate through education and support.

Joanna is deeply committed to delivering evidence-based, personalized, and compassionate care, while establishing meaningful connections with her patients. Joanna is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and is the president of the Oncology Nursing Society's Upstate Northern NJ Chapter. Additionally, she has previously worked as a telemedicine nurse practitioner at Cerebral, Inc., providing care for individuals dealing with anxiety and depression.

Outside of the clinic, Joanna loves spending time with her family and friends, travelling, and exploring new restaurants and culinary experiences. She enjoys reading, listening to music, dancing, volunteering, and exercising.
