Jessica Taubman, MD

Starting January 2026, Dr. Jessica Taubman will be relocating to 55 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081

Dr. Jessica Taubman cares for Optum patients in our Springfield office. Dr. Taubman obtained her Undergraduate Degree at the American University with a BA in Psychology. She then earned her Medical Degree at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. Dr. Taubman completed her residency at the Hoboken University Medical Center. She has done research on the topic of education and comfort regarding inpatient insulin and diabetes management.

Dr. Taubman’s special interests within Family Medicine include Preventive Medicine, Well Visits, Obesity, Gynecology (GYN), Diabetes Mellitus (DM) and Hypertension (HTN). In terms of her personal philosophy with patient care she believes, “Key to Family Medicine is to prevent disease before it begins and treating the patient as a whole entity using the biopsychosocial model, not piecemeal.” Dr. Taubman adds that she takes her time with patients getting adequate history and getting to know them. She is also personable, warm and friendly. Besides Dr. Taubman giving exceptional care to all of our Riverside patients, she enjoys spending time with family, playing with her cat and dog, being active and relaxing when spare time allows for it. She lives in Hoboken with her husband who is in Medicine too and she hopes to expand her family soon!
