Eleazer Yousefzadeh, MD

Dr. Yousefzadeh is a specialist in gastrointestinal and liver health. He completed his residency at Montefiore Medical Center where he was awarded Outstanding House Officer. After completing fellowship training in 2012, he joined an academic practice with an appointment to Assistant Professor of Medicine at Drexel University.

His commitment to teaching the next generation of physicians remains with adjunct appointments of Clinical Assistant Professor at NYIT and Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Yousefzadeh has served as Chairperson of the Division of Nutritional Services at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre. Dr. Yousefzadeh treats all gastrointestinal and liver disorders, including Inflammatory Bowel Disease, a focus of his clinical practice. Other interests include and medical nutrition and weight management. He is certified in hemorrhoid ligation therapy.
