Anuja Joshi, OD

Dr. Anuja Joshi, an optometrist with over 20 years of experience, is passionate about providing personalized optometric care. Dr. Joshi’s dedication is demonstrated through her specialization in primary care and wellness, ocular disease management, advanced contact lens fitting, and managing ocular surface diseases.

Her educational journey took her from McGill University in Montreal to Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine in London, and finally to the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Along the way, she built on her knowledge and skills to become a well-rounded optometrist.

Dr. Joshi’s thirst for knowledge continues past her journey of becoming an optometrist. Dr Joshi constantly seeks ways to integrate technology and innovation into patient care by pursuing executive education at world class institutions. Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Joshi has made significant contributions to research and teaching by delving into corneal biomechanics, ocular surface diseases, and its impact of vision quality.

Lastly, Dr. Joshi is committed to her community which shines through her involvement with organizations that support Human Rights, Equity and Education. In her spare time Dr. Joshi enjoys cooking, gardening and traveling. Most of all, she cherishes time with her family, especially her two children.

Dr. Joshi hopes to provide a compassionate approach with an emphasis on patient education and proactive strategies for optimal eye health.
