Alisha Liggett, MD is a board certified family medicine physician with over 10 years of experience working as a physician, and an educator in the tri-state area.  She graduated with a BA in African American Studies from Columbia University, then earned her medical doctorate degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore.  She completed her residency in family medicine, and a fellowship in HIV primary care at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY.  As a family medicine physician, she prides herself on caring for individuals of all ages, and backgrounds, but is also particularly a tune to how life experiences shape health behaviors.  Her philosophy of patient care centers culturally responsive, high quality care focused on partnering with patients and their family for better health.
