Alan Abraham Salem, MD
Alan Salem, MD is a Board Certified Pediatrician and Division Chief in Pediatrics. He also has served as the camp physician at Camp Chipinaw sleep away camp in Upstate New York. Dr. Salem is a graduate of the prestigious 6-year combined BA, MD Program at Boston University. After completing his residency at North Shore Hospital in pediatrics, Dr. Salem has been in the same practice for over 25 years. He has been a clinical associate professor of Pediatrics at both the Stony Brook Physician Assistant program and Hofstra Physician Assistant program and Medical School. Dr. Salem specializes in general pediatrics and is trained to care for newborns, infants, children and adolescents. He has a special interest in nutrition, growth disorders, and sports medicine. Dr. Salem is still accepting new patients and is looking forward to creating a positive experience for the patients in the practice.
