About Provider Aglae Garvey Rene, MD, FACC, FSCAI:

Dr. Rene attended Johns Hopkins University where he graduated with Honors. He earned his medical doctorate from the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, and went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Columbia University Medical Center.

Following his training in internal medicine, Dr. Rene went on to complete his general cardiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He stayed at the University of Pennsylvania to complete additional training in Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease, where he performed more than 2000 diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and 500 interventions.

He has authored and co-authored multiple articles and book chapters on coronary interventions and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). His research has been presented at the American College of Cardiology and at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) Conference. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI). He is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Rene sees patients at our Mount Kisco and Fishkill Westage locations.
