Manage Your Prescription – CareMount

Help us help you!

After your appointment or discussion with your provider, we will begin working to quickly get your prescription to you, plus answer any question about your medicines.

Take these steps to avoid common roadblocks on prescription orders:

Sign up for the Patient Portal

The Patient Portal is an easy way to keep track of your medications. The portal allows you to access your clinical visit summary, view upcoming appointments, access educational materials and request prescription renewals.

First-time users must call directly to the portal phone line (914) 242-1555. Our staff will set up your account. The phone line is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Rx Refill Instructions

As soon as your portal account is set up, here is how to request a prescription refill.

  • Login to your account
  • Click -> Renew medications
  • Select your prescription from the drop-down menu
  • Select your pharmacy or update to new pharmacy, if necessary
  • Choose the name of your provider
  • Submit request

Medication renewals requested through the Patient Portal will be sent to your pharmacy within three business days. If you need your medication sooner, please call your physician’s office. If we are unable to fulfill your request, you will be contacted within three business days.

Helpful Pharmacy Tips

Read the label on your prescription. Note if more refills are indicated. If so, ask your pharmacist if you will be receiving an automatic refill, or if you need to request authorization from your provider or insurance company.
