Yana Rodriguez, PA

Originally an electrical engineer, Yana was inspired to become a PA after having her own interaction with a PA who was passionate, knowledgeable, and a strong patient advocate. Since graduating, Yana has worked with patients with various cardiovascular disease.

Yana has over ten years of experience working with patients with myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, severe valvular disease, peripheral vascular disease and congenital heart disease. She has also received extensive training from interventional cardiologists and vascular surgeons.

Yana believes in compassionate medical care, in building strong connections with patients, and in developing trusting relationship. She believes that by developing such relationship, the provider and patient will be able to work together to accomplish a desired goal of care.
