Ummekalsoom Rehman Malik, MD

Ummekalsoom R. Malik, MD has been practicing for 30+ years. Dr. Malik is a part of a large, multidisciplinary team of devoted specialists who share her goal of providing exceptional care to their patients. Dr. Malik treats general oncology, breast and lung cancer, malignancies (gynecological, hematologic, gastrointestinal) and benign hematology. Her goal is to provide state-of-the-art treatment to her patients with compassion, kindness and the utmost respect, involving them in the decision-making throughout their illness. Dr. Malik has contributed numerous works to the medical press. Her work has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cancer, and Medical Oncology. Dr. Malik served in the medical oncology department at Albert Einstein College of MedicineMontefiore Medical Center, worked as a medical director of the oncology Apheresis Unit, and acted as the vice chairperson of the Cancer Center Research Committee.
