Tyron Medallo, PT

Tyron Medallo, DPT, also known as "Ty", is a dedicated therapist who puts his heart into everything he does. His all-in mentality has been a key factor in his success in the Philippines where he worked in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and aquatics/sports facilities.

After working in the Philippines for 5 years, Ty moved to New York City to take on a bigger challenge. After over a decade of positive patient outcomes, he joined the team at Optum and is excited to continue his professional journey. He is determined to keep improving his skills as a physical therapist and is fully committed to this new chapter in his career.

In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, scuba diving, surfing, snowboarding, running, swimming, and practicing yoga. Most of all, Ty is skilled at freediving and has extensive knowledge of the body's response to pressure, which aids him in his role as a physical therapist. He is committed to his work and always strives to improve. Every patient he treats knows they’re in good hands.
