Tina Marie Lafemina, PA

Tina has been a pediatric physician assistant for over twenty years. She is a native Long Islander who began her career in medicine as volunteer EMT at Sayville Community Ambulance. While she loved the thrill of emergency medicine, she always knew she wanted to take care of children. For Tina, there is nothing more special than making a difference in the life of a child. She has always taken a calm and caring approach to her patients, understanding that it’s not always easy for a child to go for treatment when they’re nervous or not feeling well. Tina places great emphasis on making sure that her families are comfortable with their treatment plan and, most importantly, that they feel she has listened to and heard them. She strives to make sure that her patients never feel rushed or afraid to ask a question. Tina looks forward to meeting many more families to impact their lives in a memorable way.
