Sushama Mody, MD

Dr. Sushama Mody has been a provider in private practice since 27 in New Jersey and New York City. She’s attended Amherst College where she graduated in 1996, Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Anthropology and her main concentration was in Medical Anthropology. She completed her master’s degree in Medical Sciences at Boston University prior to entering medical school at Suny Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Mody went on to complete her Internal Medicine training at the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Rheumatology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center.

She served as the Chief of Rheumatology at Metropolitan Hospital from 21 until 214. She is certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, and is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. As a Rheumatologist, she specializes in diagnosing and treating autoimmune disorders and diseases that affect the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Mody currently specializes in our Rheumatology department in our Bayonne, North Arlington and North Bergen locations.
