Shira Manheim, CPNP has been working as a pediatric nurse practitioner since 2019. She spent the first few years working in primary care. In July, 2023, Shira started working in pediatric neurology. She is passionate about pediatrics and truly values the relationship built with the entire family when caring for their children. Shira believes that children are resilient and so inspiring and that their caregivers are inspiring as well. As a mother, she learns daily from the parents she gets to know, by witnessing their dedication to their children through the healthy times, and even more so, the difficult times. This has been enhanced ten-fold since she has been working in Pediatric Neurology. Shira guides parents through the diagnosis and treatment of their children with ADHD, along with other behavioral challenges. Together, she cultivates a treatment plan that not only targets the behavior, but also gives their child the confidence and grit needed to overcome their challenges. Shira feels so honored to be on this journey with them.
