She earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, where she was recognized for her excellence during her clinical years. Dr. Fruchter completed her general surgery residency at Hackensack University Medical Center. She subsequently pursued specialized fellowships in Advanced Upper GI and Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery at Florida Hospital and New York University Langone Hospitals.

In her current practice, Dr. Fruchter focuses on breast surgical oncology, utilizing cutting-edge techniques to treat breast cancer while emphasizing individualized care for each patient.
