Robert Edelman, MD, FACS has been a urologist on Long Island for 43 years. His sub-specialties include diagnosing and treating prostate cancer, cryotherapy of the prostate, and treatment urological stone disease. Dr. Edelman developed his communication skills while driving a yellow cab as a student at Brooklyn College in New York City. He learned how to communicate with people from all walks of life and used those skills to better understand and treat the physical and emotional problems of his patients. Dr. Edelman’s goal as a urologist is not only to treat urological diseases, but to develop long-lasting, trusting relationships with his patients and their families
