Neil C. Dunleavy, MD, FAAOS
Dr. Neil Dunleavy is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee. A Westchester native, Dr. Dunleavy is known for his patient-first approach, focusing on non-surgical treatments whenever possible. He helps patients recover from injuries and return to their active lifestyles using the latest techniques in joint preservation, tendon repair, labrum repair and rotator cuff surgery.
Conditions treated include shoulder pain, rotator cuff and labrum tears, knee pain, ACL injuries, and meniscus tears. Dr. Dunleavy also addresses sports injuries, overuse injuries, and arthritis of the shoulder and knee, as well as tendinitis, bursitis, and joint instability.
Specialized treatments offered include arthroscopic rotator cuff and labrum repair, ACL reconstruction, and meniscus preservation. Additional services focus on cartilage restoration, joint preservation, and conservative, non-surgical treatment plans.
