About Provider Maury Alan Marmor, MD:

Maury A. Marmor, MD is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist with over 35 years of experience in the subspecialty of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Marmor is a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has been involved in resident education for all three ophthalmology residency programs on Long Island. He has many publications in ophthalmic literature and has lectured locally, nationally and internationally. Since 1993, Dr. Marmor has participated in medical programs abroad as Visiting Faculty with ORBIS.org and has been among a privileged few to have had the opportunity to work aboard all three of their Flying Eye Hospitals, teaching pediatric ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery techniques in developing countries. In addition to teaching ophthalmology residents, Dr. Marmor understands the importance of educating patients and parents about their eye conditions and always takes the time to answer their questions.
