M. Scott Owitz, MS, FNP-C

M. Scott Owitz, RN; FNP-BC, has dedicated his career to providing exceptional health care services to patients. With over 40 years of experience in the field of nursing, he firmly believes in a team approach to health care. Mr. Owitz feels that no one person can know it all and getting help until an answer is found is the most important goal of health care. Mr. Owitz works hard to remain on time and to provide a high level of care. His focus remains on pediatrics, but he still works in Urgent Care from time to time as he enjoys suturing and procedural skills up to date.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Mr. Owitz worked in the Emergency Department and rode with ESOPUS ambulance squad as an EMT. He has been in health care in this community since 1984.

Special areas of interest: Emergent care such as suturing or foreign body removal from nose and ears. Scott enjoys working with children and young adults to help manage common problems such as ADHD and anxiety.
