Juan De La Rosa Calvo, PT, DPT

Juan De La Rosa Calvo (they/them), PT, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, where they completed the advanced track in orthopedics with an emphasis on performing arts and pelvic floor subspecialties.

In addition to a BA in Dance and Theatre from San Francisco State University, Juan holds certifications in pelvic floor treatment from Herman and Wallace, Functional Mobilization from the Institute of Physical Art, and is a certified Pilates instructor in mat and reformer.

As a former professional dancer and educator, Juan brings a movement-based approach to care and designs personalized treatment plans that promote recovery, strength, and body awareness. They have completed research on dance medicine and pelvic floor therapy and are committed to inclusive, evidence-based care.
