Jacob Handszer, MD

Dr. Jacob Handszer is a board-certified specialist in interventional procedures. He is skilled in performing cervical and lumbar epidural injections, as well as cervical and lumbar facet blocks and radiofrequency ablations. His area of expertise is in treating spinal pain, particularly disorders of the cervical and lumbar spine. He also offers sacroiliac injections for sacroiliac dysfunction, all of which are performed using fluoroscopy for precise guidance. For optimal patient comfort, these procedures can also be done under anesthesia.

Dr. Handszer earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He has consistently received the "Top Doctors" award from Hudson Valley Magazine for multiple years. Dr. Handszer is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management and practices at the Carmel/Brewster Campus.
