Gary B. Wenick, MD
Gary Wenick has spent decades serving Putnam County as a general pediatrician. Gary is local to the New York area. Born in Connecticut, he went to New York Medical College and did his residency training in Pediatrics at Long Island Jewish Medical center where he continued to specialize in endocrine (glandular) disorders of childhood. He continues to enjoy treating growth disorders as well as important pediatric issues such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. His most important goal as a pediatrician is to follow the standards set by the American Academy of Pediatrics while simultaneously providing compassionate care to all the patients that he sees. Gary continues to teach residents and students at Westchester Medical Center's Maria Fareri Children's Hospital while still finding time for hobbies such as hiking, and volunteering for the Girl Scouts of America. He has been married for over thirty years with 3 beautiful daughters.
