Chaula Parikh, MD

Dr. Chaula Parikh joined Riverside Pediatric Group in 22 and cares for patients in our Hoboken office. Dr. Parikh obtained her medical degree from B.J. Medical School in India in 1996. She completed her residency at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center - Cornell Hospital in 22. While in residency, Dr. Parikh participated in research of Growth Hormones and growth failure in patients. Dr. Parikh received the Best Resident Award in 21. The exceptional care she provided to her patients continued, as is evident by her receiving the prestigious “Riverside Doctor of the Year” award in 27. She has a special interest in the growth and development of newborns. Dr. Parikh’s philosophy is founded on the principle that “educating parents about treatment options and working collaboratively with them for patient care” is essential when treating children. Dr. Parikh strongly believes that a “knowledgeable parent is a very good partner that helps to bring patient care to a higher level.” In addition, Dr. Parikh believes that consistent follow-up with patients is important in order to determine how effectively treatment is working and to allow for the necessary adjustments to be made in order to get the best results. Dr. Parikh lives in Watchung, NJ with her husband and her children.
