Caitlyn Quaranta, NP, is a dedicated and compassionate clinician specializing in pediatric endocrinology. With a career in nursing since 2016, Caitlyn has honed her skills and expertise through various roles and settings. She began her journey at the renowned Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as part of their nurse residency program, where she gained invaluable experience in the pediatric intensive care unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and progressive care settings. This foundational experience laid the groundwork for her commitment to providing high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to pediatric patients from infancy to adulthood.
After her residency, Caitlyn moved back to New York and continued her work at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, where she cared for children with complex health conditions. Her dedication to pediatric care was further recognized when she served as the NICU and Pediatric Professional Development Specialist for the Nuvance Health system. Caitlyn's passion for pediatric care and her personal experiences with children diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis and new-onset type 1 diabetes inspired her to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner, with a particular focus on pediatric endocrinology.
Caitlyn's areas of expertise include pediatric and neonatal critical care. She holds a bachelor of science in nursing from Mount Saint Mary College, which she completed in 2016, and a master of science in nursing from the same institution in 2022. Her professional credentials include board certification as a family nurse practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, as well as certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association and Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider Certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Caitlyn's commitment to excellence has been recognized with the Nuvance Health Beyond the Bedside Nurse of the Year award in May 2024.
Outside of her professional life, Caitlyn enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants in the Hudson Valley, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and dogs.
