Amil Alie is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in the treatment of adult psychiatric disorders. He graduated with honors from the City University of New York, York College with his bachelor’s in physician assistant studies. He completed his master's degree from Stony Brook University and obtained his doctorate in medical sciences from the University of Lynchburg. He has a vast amount of experience in mental health treatment, practicing for over a decade in multiple psychiatric settings including a psychiatric emergency department and correctional facility in New York City. PA Alie also serves as an assistant professor for the physician assistant program at his alma mater.
PA Alie is passionate about providing the appropriate mental health care to his patients using the latest evidence-based approach. He strives to promote the need for and importance of continued mental health maintenance in efforts towards reducing associated stigmas of mental health. He believes in providing patients with a holistic approach to their treatment, looking at his patients as the center of their treatment rather than just a diagnosis.
