Optum Art in Medicine Program
Produced by:

The Art in Medicine program displays the talents of Optum clinicians across the tri-state region. The program came from an idea from one of our providers, Caroline DeFilippo, MD, to give health care professionals an outlet to express joy and reduce burnout through art. It has grown into a program with more than 80 physicians and advance practice clinicians (APCs) contributing their works of art. The theme is a gift of gratitude.
“Take a moment to look around and feel gratitude for the natural beauty that surrounds us.”
— Maury Marmor, MD, pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus
